Tate Street Coffee

If youre looking for history, community, music, treats, and most importantly delicious coffee, look no further than Tate Street Coffee. Located on the heart of Tate Street near UNCG,  this coffee shop has been one of the longest standing staples in greensboro. Since its inception in 1993, Tate Street Coffee has been a common thread amongst  everyone from college students, professors, young professionals, and older community members alike.  

With 100%  Fair Trade and Organic coffee beans, they offer a ton of different signature lates, ciders, and other drinks, as well as a variety of breakfast options like bagels, muffins, and other pastries. 

Open every day from 6:30am- 5pm, they feature live music, and a Jazz jam every thursday night. They also host live jazz on saturday and sunday mornings and Irish music on Sunday Afternoons. 

So stop in for a cup of coffee and browse through their tons of historic photos and local artwork gracing the walls, or pop open your laptop at one of their many booths or tables for a nice daily work space.  Youre sure to be back again and again.
