This Piedmont Triad Haunted Attraction is Among the Nation’s Most Legendary

September 21, 2023

Halloween is around the corner, and haunted attractions are starting this weekend. Lucky us, one of the most lavish fear-based entertainment productions in the NATION is right here in the Piedmont Triad.

This year, Spooky Woods received multiple recognitions from America Haunts, the national association of haunted attractions. Kersey Valley Spooky Woods in Archdale, NC, is a famous haunted attraction that’s been around for almost four decades and makes America Haunts’ list of America’s most esteemed haunted attractions AND the list of top five legendary haunted attractions in the nation.

We can attest that Spooky Woods is quite a scary adventure! Leave your little ones at home for this one. It is not your run-of-the-mill in-and-out haunted house. It’s a haunted town with characters, a maze, a train ride through a dark field, a spooky DJ, AND a haunted house.

Jeff Valentino

Hi, it’s Jeff Valentino. In 2019 my 2 sons and I packed up and moved to Winston Salem from the suburbs of Chicago. We didn’t know one person here. I wished there was a resource for people like me who are considering a similar move, so I decided to make one!
